There's a beginning and an end - we all start there - 20 years ago, my best friend transitioned in my sister and my arms... This is where it gets interesting. The day before my mom's transition, we gathered all her friends and family for one last moment together. During one of my mom's visits, she paused and looked at me, pointing to the corner of the master bedroom ceiling. "Michael, my mom's here," she said. Instantly, two guests dismissed it as the drugs or morphine, but I knew differently.
Later that night, after all the guests had left, I went back into my mom's room and asked her about her mom's presence. She pointed to the same part of the ceiling and confirmed that her mom was there for her. I said, "Tell her hi and that I love her, and I'll see you both on the other side." She smiled with a tear in her eyes, and it was then that I knew we'd see each other again.
Now it was time to celebrate her life. This is where my compassion and love grew, and it touches every celebration I create. Whether it's an intimate setting or a gathering of a socialite's friends and family, I infuse love and meaning into each event.
One special occasion stands out in my heart. A client came to me, asking if I could design a piece of art to celebrate his life. I knew him for over 20 years, so I had an idea. We set a date for the celebration, and from a drawing on a napkin, a beautiful 10' sculpture with fire, light, movement, and water came to life. It stood majestically on the hill behind the tennis court, overlooking the area of celebration. It was such a beautiful moment, celebrating his life.
So, let's Celebrate Life!
Each event I create is a testament to the love, connection, and memories that bind us all.
Let's cherish every moment and create magical celebrations that honor life's most precious gift - love.
